Baptisms
In Baptism, God claims us as HIS own as we become children of God. We do baptize babies through adulthood because we believe that God chooses us and accepts us for who we are and where we are as we are baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Weddings
Our sanctuary is a beautiful setting for a wedding, and we have a guidebook to help you with the planning. If you would like your wedding in a different setting, Pastor Kent has also presided at outside weddings. Any planning for a wedding that Pastor Kent presides at must begin at the latest, 6 months before the wedding date. There will be at least two premarital meetings with pastor as the three of you get to know each other and work out the details.
Funerals
Funerals are a time of celebration. We celebrate the life of the one who died by sharing stories of how he/she touched the lives of those who gathered to pay their respect. But we also celebrate their new eternal life. Death is only a door for the believer. When the time comes for us to leave this world, Jesus sends his angels to bring us into God's kingdom. This is an even greater reason to celebrate.
